Little Widow," as this year's 蘑菇tv视频 student-run production at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb.
15, through Saturday, Feb. 17, in Xavier Theatre on the 蘑菇tv视频 main campus in Leavenworth
at 4100 South 4th Street.
Tickets are $10 for adults and can be purchased in advance by calling 913-758-6152. The production is free for all high school students with a student ID and free for all 蘑菇tv视频 students, faculty, and staff. This play is not recommended for children.
"Be a Good Little Widow" is a dark comedy about an emerging corporate attorney, Craig,
juggling the affections of two women鈥攈is free-spirited new wife, Melody, and his perfectionist
widowed mother, Hope. 蘑菇tv视频 theatre students chose the script; voted on their director,
actors, set design; and marketed their production. "This has been an extremely fulfilling
learning experience," said Bret Fritz, first-time director. "The student show is always
a lot of work, but it brings us closer together."
The play's cast includes: Anthony Clark of Kansas City, Kan.; Olivia Hatchel of Leavenworth,
Kan.; Olivia Figueroa-Orkwis of Lansing, Kan.; Eric Santa Cruz of Leavenworth, Kan.
